Rated SGF Film Festival has been canceled for 2021

The COVID-19 pandemic has forced the cancellation of the Rated SGF Film Festival for 2021. Rated SGF will return March 25-26, 2022.

The difficult decision was made by the Downtown Springfield Association and the Film and Media Association of Springfield in the interests of public health concerns. The health and safety of guests, volunteers, and staff, as always, is the top priority.

“We are disappointed we won’t be able to put on this great festival in 2021, but we know this is the right decision,” Jennifer Moseley, festival director, said. “We are thankful for all the support we have received as we planned this event and look forward to hosting our third Rated SGF Film Festival March 25-26, 2022. This will be our biggest and best to date.”

Rated SGF is an indoor event, making social distancing difficult. The event also requires travel to Springfield from other parts of the country.

Tickets purchased for Rated SGF 2020 will be honored in 2022. If a refund is required or you have any other questions, please contact Moseley by calling 417-831-6200 or emailing [email protected].
